The data controller is Jorge Gerardo Peña Pastor, operating under the mokapps.dev brand.
Contact email: contact@mokapps.dev.
PantanOS is a public application with no registration: we do not create user accounts, we do not ask for email or password, and we do not collect personal data that identifies you. What follows describes, in detail, the only data flows for which we are responsible.
https://pantanos.mokapps.dev/api/), our servers keep aggregated access logs for up to 30 days, including IP address, timestamp, User-Agent, and request path. These logs are used only for operational purposes (abuse detection, diagnostics, availability metrics) and are not correlated to any identity because no accounts exist. We do not collect name, email, contacts, photos, audio, microphone, calendar, contacts, Bluetooth devices, or any personal data not listed above.
The PantanOS data shown in the app (reservoir inventory, weekly observations, historical baselines) is public data published by MITECO (the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition). The app downloads it periodically as a data pack and stores it locally on your device so it keeps working offline.
Our servers, hosted in the European Union, store only a derived copy of this public data and the technical logs described in section 3.
PantanOS shows ads via Google AdMob to sustain development. AdMob is a Google service that may collect and use device identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID) to select ads, measure performance, and cap their frequency. Google processes this data as an independent controller.
You can control ad personalisation from your device settings:
We do not use web analytics or user-tracking tools (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, etc.). No cookies are set by pantanos.mokapps.dev beyond what is strictly required to deliver the content.
Although PantanOS does not process identifying data, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and data portability. Exercise them by writing to contact@mokapps.dev.
Because we keep no user accounts, most erasure requests will result in guidance on how to uninstall the app or reset your Advertising ID. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Communications between the app and our servers use HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or newer. Data stored on our servers is encrypted at rest by the infrastructure provider.
PantanOS targets a general audience. We do not ask for age because there is no registration; since we do not collect identifying data, we do not store information about minors either. If we detect usage patterns indicative of minors' personal data, it will be deleted immediately.
Using Google AdMob may involve international transfers of advertising identifiers to countries outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are governed by the Google Terms and Privacy Policy, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. The current version will always be available at https://pantanos.mokapps.dev/en/policy. If we introduce a significant change, we will highlight it inside the app before it takes effect.
For any inquiry or to exercise your rights, write to contact@mokapps.dev.
